Any ideas for crafts to make parts for old cars?
Looking for ideas for crafts to antique car parts -- seat belts, engine parts, etc.
I have seen belts become straps. Hubcaps can become the clock. Two tires bolted top of each other, cleaned and painted and covered with decorative pillow can make a small seat. An exhaust pipe somehow screwed to a base, may be connected to make a floor lamp. If you have the talent, you could build a frame and use the seats to make a stand / sofa for a themed dinner room. If the seats fold and rolling, the better. If you are talking about the cars of the older models had chrome bumpers, you can use a string of lights the rope behind a light wall sculpture. Back to the tires, you could get a piece of thick safety glass, bigger than the top of the tires, and make the 2 of them at a small table. Head gaskets I do not know how they look after being used, but you could cut a mirror to size and tail of the board over an interesting mirror "framed". That's all you can imagine.
