How do I make sure my Jeep doesn't burn out my new blower motor speed switch?
I've already replaced the resistor b/c it was in bad shape too. Could the resistor be the cause of my fan speed switch going bad too?? I'm trying to fix this myself and any help would be useful. I want to put the new one in but I don't want it to burn up like the old one until I'm certain I know the reason. Thanks.
if you're talking for heating or cooling going goofy, check the vent doors, the vent door control switch and heater control. jeep has bulletins on all of these. start with the second two first and then go the vent doors for cheapest first.
